Perform a wide variety of duties such as mixing materials, assembling mold parts, filling molds, and stacking molds to mold, cast, and finish a wide range of ductile iron waterworks pipe fittings.
Operate heavy equipment, such as roll-off trucks and dump trucks, to transport non-hazardous waste products, sand, scrap, and other materials to appropriate points during the production of ductile iron pipe fittings.
As a Forklift Operator / Order selector, you will be responsible for moving products throughout the distribution center using RF technology. Day to day, you can expect to be picking orders and building pallets for shipment. Loading and unloading trailers and containers. Storing pallets in their proper bin locations. Counting and verifying product throughout all tasks, while maintaining a clean, safe and productive work environment.
Set up and operate a variety of conventional machinery to produce precision parts and tooling. May also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair conventional machinery or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout and machining procedures.
Manage the overall operations of a ductile iron foundry while being responsible for labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as directed by Tyler Union. Responsibilities may include interviewing, selection and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning assigning and directing work; conducting employee performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans.
