Overview

The Sales Support Representative works as an integral part of the Tyler Union Sales team, primarily responsible for the delivery of administrative services and the execution of designated sales assistance activities. Excellent administrative, clerical, record-keeping and computer skills are essential. Successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, within established parameters, while understanding the necessity for communicating/coordinating work efforts with colleagues and management. This position requires a great deal of interaction with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep knowledge of product offerings
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls and travel arrangements as needed
  • Create and update various forms and spreadsheets, including PowerPoint presentations
  • Update and ensure accuracy of customer contact files, responsible for mass email announcements and intercompany correspondence
  • Implement, track and follow-through on reports and projects to and from Sales utilizing Outlook and Excel. Primary contact for record keeping
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, brochures, social media, maintain company website and intranet site
  • Administrator for CRM (Customer Relationship Management) sales database; responsible for maintenance and updating CRM system with pertinent information regarding distributor activities and jobs bid. Primary contact for Sales regarding data entry into CRM. Responsible for security and trouble shooting
  • Performs various other miscellaneous sales and service related duties as directed by management

Working Conditions

This is an office position. Suitable candidate will maintain a positive attitude with the capacity to capably work individually and in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Administrative and CRM experience preferred
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of the manufacturer/distributor supply chain process desirable
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products necessary, particularly Word and Excel
